The House of Representatives Voted to Criminalize Portions of the Bible?

This is no exaggeration. Whether through ignorance or malice on the part of the representatives who voted to pass this bill, the headline is true.

To Conservatives: How do you think the two “squad” members, Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, voted? Although the bill to ban scripture was passed, they voted against it. Could conservatives you ever find common ground with those two? They voted against it, not because it would make the Bible illegal, but because it simultaneously silences their constituents.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 6090, the “Antisemitism Awareness Act,” by a landslide vote. Both parties – nearly 80% of the entire body – joined forces to shred the First Amendment. If brought to full law, it would force the government to use the definition of “antisemitism” created by an NGO – an unelected, self-appointed “intergovernmental” group called the IHRA. Details within that definition are where the shocking outcome plays out – Scripture is made illegal.

Don’t be tempted to dismiss this as sensationalism. Regardless of what happens, we now have, on record, nearly our entire law-making body voting against what is clearly protected speech.

Big Tech Clouds and the “Hollerith Machine”

In the late 1930s and early 1940s, Germany used IBM’s “Hollerith” machines to rapidly catalog and sort through “private” records, identify populations, and track victims. Those machines didn’t just store data; they were used to optimize persecution, allowing the Nazi party to search 24,000 people per hour to locate certain undesirable characteristics.

Today’s Hollerith machines: The Cloud.

When you store your notes, your photos, your emails, and your private thoughts on Google, Apple, or Microsoft servers, you are handing over a digital map of your life. Using modern AI, the government doesn’t need to read your files one by one. They can scan your entire digital existence in seconds, flagging keywords from your Bible studies or your political opinions. If the government decides your beliefs are now “illegal,” they don’t even have to come to your house—they just send a subpoena to a tech giant that has already proven it will hand over your data to stay on the government’s good side. It is data that can and will be used against you in a court of law.

Compliance rates are high: Meta, Google, and Apple all complied – some approaching the 89% mark – for requests. Millions of people had their private data handed over to the government.

With your data in their hands, you have surrendered your 4th Amendment rights. And, in turn, your 1st Amendment rights. The CLOUD Act, the FACE Act, the FBI, and ICE have all worked together under “color of law” to take away what God intended all men to have – life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

It doesn’t matter which side of the aisle you are on. No one is safe from government policy when the Constitution is ignored.

The 320 members of the House who voted for this were not voting for their constituents. They were not voting for Constitutional principles. They were voting for special interests. Your government is no longer your government. It is no longer of the people, by the people, or for the people. By using “hate speech” definitions that conflict with historical truth and stifle political criticism, they have created a net that can catch anyone. The solution – escape this digital registry. Remove your life from their infrastructure. VaultNode is the solution.

Not Just a Chilling Effect – A Path to Criminal Charges

The IHRA definition of antisemitism specifically lists two areas (and more) that are now being treated as off-limits. If this bill is ever reintroduced, and passes the Senate, your digital files will become a permanent record of “thought crimes.”

This is a direct attack on the Bible. Quote 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16—where the Apostle Paul speaks of “the Jews who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets… and are against all men”—you are now in the cross-hairs of potential federal policy. If you reference Matthew 27:25, where the people established the Israeli policy of, “His blood be on us and on our children,” (a literal self professed, self imposed blood libel) you have crossed a line defined by the state as hate speech.

Leaders in Israel have explicitly used terms like “Amalek”—the biblical nation that God commanded to be utterly destroyed—to describe their duty to commit genocide on those they consider inferior. This is literally the same ideal they accused Nazi Germany of holding. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu famously invoked the memory of Amalek in October 2023, saying, “You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible.” When a nation’s leadership uses genocidal rhetoric, citizens have a natural and logical right to debate and compare those policies to any regime that used the same sort of rhetoric. Including parallels to “Nazism”. This bill seeks to silence that debate entirely.
